Housing stats for September -- October coming soon!
In the middle of writing the below post, I realized how BORING (albeit informative) of a post it was. There are more homes currently on the market than there have been all of 2015, leaving us with more inventory/selection for buyers. The average days on market are at 44, slightly up from previous months. Buyers are eager to buy, considering interest rates are still low. Stats specific to Powell: The average sales price in Powell was over $373,000, compared to near $360,000 at this time last year. Gotta love seeing your property values increasing! Price per square foot came in at a whopping $140, with an average of 73 days on the market. Another exciting number is the #10!!! This is the average # of homes that buyers look at before buying AND the average # of years that people typically stay in their homes!
